II. Description of Service

Philo is a philosophical journaling application that combines personal reflection with curated wisdom from historical philosophers. We provide:

• AI-generated philosophical quotes relevant to your thoughts

• Historical context and author information

• A private digital journal for your reflections

• Calendar visualization of your entries

• Optional premium features for enhanced experience

III. User Accounts

To use Philo, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

IV. User Content

You retain all rights to the content you create in Philo, including journal entries, reflections, and uploaded photos. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You are responsible for your content and warrant that it does not violate any laws or infringe upon the rights of others.

V. Premium Subscription

Philo offers optional premium features through a subscription:

• $8.00 USD per month

• $60.00 USD per year (equivalent to $5.00 per month)

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may cancel anytime through your account settings.

Refunds are not provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by law.

VI. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

• Interfere with or disrupt the service

• Share your account credentials with others

• Scrape, data mine, or use automated systems to access the service

VII. Intellectual Property

The Philo application, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding user content) is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

Philosophical quotes and historical information are sourced from public domain works or generated through AI systems. Book purchase links are provided for informational purposes.

VIII. Disclaimer of Warranties

Philo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

The philosophical content is for informational and reflective purposes only and should not be considered professional advice.

IX. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of Philo.

X. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

XI. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.

XII. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
